He’s only 33 years old, but he has already won nine Grammy Awards. One of those Grammys was for his 2005 song, “Ordinary People”.

This week’s song isn’t a love song, but it should make you feel good. In fact, the title of the song is, “Feeling Good”! It was originally sung by Cy Grant in 1965, and has been covered, or sung by different people, multiple times since then.

This version of the song is sung by Canadian singer Michael Bublé, who released it in 2005. Seven years later, the song is still popular and has even been used in some commercials and movies.

Do you recognize it? Are there any lyrics, or words in the song, that you don’t know? And most importantly, are you feeling good?

Born in New York City, Alicia Keys began playing the piano when she was seven years old. Now, at 31, she is still playing the piano, but is also singing. Her voice, her songs, and of course, her piano, have made her famous. She has won multiple Grammy Awards and has sold millions of albums.

This song, “Fallin”, won three Grammys in 2002, including the one for Song of the Year.

It is about the good and bad times of a relationship. When you are falling in love, or developing deep feelings of love for someone, it is one of the good times. But, there are often bad times, too, when you might be “falling out of love” with that person.

Do you know all of the lyrics, or words, to this song?

Here are some of the more difficult ones:

  • Fallin’ is an informal way to say “falling”.
  • Ya is an informal way to say “you”.
  • If you feel blue, it means you feel sad.
  • Darlin’ is an informal way to say “darling”, which is an affectionate, or loving, name for someone.

Norah Jones’ music has been given a lot of labels, or descriptive names: jazz, blues, country, pop, and a few others. Whichever label people choose to use, they usually agree that her music is relaxing and beautiful.

Jones is 33 years old, and was born in Brooklyn, New York. She began her career in 2002, and was immediately successful. Since then, she has won nine Grammy Awards, which are given to people who work in the music industry, and was one of the most successful musicians of the 2000-2009 decade.

Jones released this song, “Come Away with Me”, in 2002.

Do you know all of the lyrics, or words, to this song?

Here are some of the more difficult ones:

  • If something is knee-high, that means it  goes up to your knees. For example, you could wear knee-high socks or boots, or walk through knee-high water or grass.
  • To tempt someone means to make them want to do or have something that may seem good, but is usually not good. For example, someone can be tempted into eating a delicious looking piece of chocolate cake, even if they know it is not healthy. A person could also be tempted to take a job that pays a lot of money, even if they know it will not be rewarding or good for society.
